Follow Tempo
BPM, phase, swing and energy update as you play.
OPEN BETAthe drum accompaniment app
You keep the beat. Bass, keys and synth bend to your groove in real time. No backing track. No bandmates.
Plug in USB MIDI, play your kit, watch the band lock to your tempo, feel and fills.
Plug in a USB MIDI kit, play naturally, and the band builds around your timing and feel.
BPM, phase, swing and energy update as you play.
Pick style, key and progression; fills can move sections.
A full band built in - analog synth, tine e-piano, FM, 808. Or bring your own: SoundFonts, WAV samples, classic FM synth banks, MIDI out to your hardware.
No backing track, the band follows you. Mute keys, add synth, strip to just bass. Your kit, your rules.
Play a fill, push the tempo, lay back, the band reacts and stays glued to your groove.
Slow it to woodshed, crank it to double-time. Practice, jam, write, all in your pocket.
Bass, keys and synth that never bail on rehearsal, never argue about the setlist, and always show up on time.
Toggle the instruments you want jamming with you. Power trio? Full wall of sound? Up to you.
Set the tempo, hit start, and the band locks into your groove, waiting on your kick.
Lay it down. Push, pull, fill, drop out. The band breathes with every hit you throw.
The stuff drummers ask before they plug in.
A drum accompaniment app for Android. You play drums, and a live band - bass, keys, pad, lead - follows your tempo, your dynamics and your fills in real time. It is not a backing track: every note is generated around what you play.
One USB cable: your drum module's USB/MIDI port into the phone (USB-OTG). Any kit that sends USB MIDI works - Roland, Alesis, Yamaha, Millenium, Behringer and friends. The app finds it automatically, and a one-time pad mapping + timing calibration takes two minutes.
No. The app has velocity-sensitive touch pads, and there is a browser drum kit at drum.bashery.app that pairs with the app and mirrors its sound.
Your tempo (speed up, it follows), your volume (play soft, it sits back), your feel (swing your hats, it swings), your fills (it answers with a lick), your endings (crash and stop - it lands a final chord), even your solos (play busy and it steps back to give you room).
The beta is free and anyone can join it on Android. When Bashery launches there will be a free tier and a paid membership, Bashery+, for everything we keep adding to it. The web kit at drum.bashery.app is free for everyone, right in your browser.
Yes - one tap records your drums and the band together as audio (.wav) and MIDI (.mid), reviewable and shareable from inside the app or in any DAW.
The Android beta is open and free. No invite, no waiting list, nothing to ask us for - two taps and you are drumming.
On an iPhone? It is not there yet. Leave your details and we will tell you the day it is - and knowing how many of you are waiting is what decides when that day comes.
